Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two pack type cosmetic capable of continuously generating heat on employment and capable of imparting an excellent conditioning effect to skin and scalp by using two kinds of specific agents which generate heat when mixed with each other.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic comprises (A) the first agent comprising (i) a compound selected from inorganic salts and inorganic oxides generating heat when mixed with water (preferably divalent metal salts or divalent metal oxides, such as magnesium dichloride or calcium dichloride) and (ii) an oil (preferably a wax, a higher alcohol or an ester oil) and (B) the second agent comprising a polyhydric alcohol (preferably polyethylene glycol having a mol.wt. of 200-600 or propylene glycol). When used, the components A and B are mixed with each other to generate heat. When the cosmetic is used, the components A and B are preferably mixed with each other in a volume ratio of about 5:1 to 1:5.
