Abstract:

To provide a two-photon absorption coloring matter achromatic material characterized in that a nonresonance two-photon absorption cross section is large and the two-photon absorption coloring matter itself is achromatized by nonresonance two-photon absorption; and to provide a three-dimensional refractive index or absorption coefficient modulation material, three-dimensional optical recording medium, three-dimensional refractive index modulation method, and three-dimensional optical recording medium recording/reproducing method with the use of it.

The two-photon absorption coloring matter achromatic material is provided which comprises at least two-photon absorption coloring matter, and the two-photon absorption coloring matter achromatizes itself by the two-photon absorption. By using it, there are provided the three-dimensional refractive index or absorption coefficient modulation material, three-dimensional optical recording medium, three-dimensional refractive index modulation method, and three-dimensional optical recording medium recording/reproducing method.
