PURPOSE: To furnish a two piece layout plasma cutting machine with excellent productivity by holding a horizontal crossbeam by a lower structural body via a vertical columnar holding member, providing plural plasma torches movably on the crossbeam, providing plural work beds on the positions on right and left of the holding member and making the lower structural body movable vertically.

CONSTITUTION: The crossbeam 1 is provided horizontally. The columnar holding member 5 is provided vertically on the central part of this crossbeam 1. The plasma torches 2 are provided movably along the crossbeam 1 on right and left of the holding member 5. The holding member 5 is held by the lower structural body 6. The work beds 4 of two surfaces on which works 3 are mounted are arranged on right and left of the holding member 5 at the intermediate height thereof. The lower structural body 6 is made movable vertically with respect to the crossbeam 1. By this method, two iron plates having regular dimensions can be cut at the same time with excellent accuracy.
