Abstract:
To improve thermal efficiency by effectively using exhaust loss wasted without being used in a former displacement type engine and cooling loss wasted after cooling a high temperature engine.
Exhaust loss and cooling loss exhausted from the displacement type adiabatic engine is recovered by an exhaust gas energy recovery device 20 including a turbine 19. For cooling loss, thermal efficiency is improved by: injecting water or steam from a nozzle 17 attached to a scavenge port of a first cylinder 11a of the displacement type adiabatic engine; cooling a cylinder inner wall in scavenge/exhaust stroke and generating superheated steam; and blowing the same to the turbine 19 to obtain power.
