Title:
TWO-POINT FRAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003156715
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a useful two-point frame which permits simple and secure tying up of spectacle parts of spectacle lenses, etc., without using nuts at all.

A connecting member 5 comprises an inside insertion member 5a to be attached by insertion into a tapered connecting hole 1a of the spectacle lens 1 and a tie-up member 5b projected to a front frame 2 in order to be detained by the inside insertion member 5a. An outer peripheral surface 5a1 of the inside insertion member 5a is formed to a tapered shape so as to be made gradually finer toward the surface of the spectacle lens 1 and a central hole 5a2 thereof is formed to a reverse tapered shape so as to be made gradually smaller toward the rear surface of the spectacle lens 1. The tie-up member 5b consists of a tie-up pin to be press fitted or screwed up into the central hole 5a2 of the inside insertion member 5a so as to expand its diameter. The reverse tapered central hole 5a2 of the inside insertion member 5a is expanded in its diameter and is detained into the tapered connecting hole 1a simply by forcibly press fitting the tie-up member into the central hole 5a2 of the inside insertion member 5a interposed into the tapered connecting hole 1a from the front surface side of the spectacle lens 1.
