Abstract:

PURPOSE: To uniformly knit a mesh loop in a simplified device by arranging a sinker jack, knock over bit and upper needle in a specific state.

CONSTITUTION: A sinker jack 43 for oscillating a sinker 42 and knock over bit 44 are slidably fitted to a head needle plate 11 so as to be able to freely advance and retreat. An upper needle 38 is put on the knock over bit and the upper needle 38 is held using a sinker spacer 41 and the head needle plate. A retreat mechanism of the upper needle bed and pulling-down device of knitted fabric is made unnecessary.
