Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a two-stage entrained bed coal gasifying furnace capable of preventing cylindrical slag from growing in a reductor burner for throwing pulverized coal for dry distillation in a reductor and stably carrying out gasification operation.
CONSTITUTION: A gas burner 16 is installed vertically below a reductor burner 9 attached to a reductor above a combustor so as to make the central line of the gas burner cross that of the reductor burner 9 in a furnace. The gas burner 16 is provided with LPG 31 and oxygen 32 to form a flame 33. The flame 33 melts and cuts cylindrical slag 15' growing at the tip of the reductor burner 9.
