Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-stage stroke cylinder capable of reducing the diameter of a large diameter cylinder as compared with an increase in a pressurizing force and also remarkably increasing a speed at which the operation mode is moved from a large stroke to a small stroke by eliminating a movable inner cylinder, installing a small diameter cylinder projectedly in the large diameter cylinder, and disposing pistons slid in both cylinders connectedly to piston rods.
SOLUTION: A two-stage stroke cylinder is structured so that a small diameter cylinder 5 is installed in a large diameter cylinder 1 projectedly from the rear wall 3 of the large diameter cylinder, and two large and small pistons 1 and 8 slid on the inner peripheral surfaces of the large and small diameter cylinders are installed connectedly to a piston rod 6 passing through the front wall 2 of the large diameter cylinder. Also a stroke limiting cylindrical body 10 projectable into the large diameter cylinder located forward of the top end part of the small diameter cylinder is connected to an annular piston 9 disposed between the outer periphery of the small diameter cylinder and the inner periphery of the large diameter cylinder.
