Title:
TWO STEP SWITCHING POSITIONING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS54108629
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce retrieval time considerably by positioning an optical reading carrier first by the signal from the frame fixing position mark of the film then changing over to the signal from information position mark and accurately positioning desired information target and read part.

CONSTITUTION: When the target address is set, a speed command value according to moving distance is emitted from a speed command circuit 19, by which speed controlling is accomplished. Thereafter, SW 14 is changed over immediate before 1/4 pitch of the stop position to set positioning controlling, by which the position signal by a fixed position signal generating mark 4 and the speed signal of a tachogenerator 16 is fed back and an optical reading carrier 7 is stopped in the target position. Next, SW 13 is changed over, by which the position signal by the film position signal generating mark 5 having been imprinted simultaneously with the information is fed back and the carrier 7 is moved as much as the relative position error of both from the stop point by the mark 4 to the stop position by the mark 5.
