Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a two-stroke internal combustion engine remarkably emission-poor though more complex than a regular one.
CONSTITUTION: A supercharger 20 presses the air through a cylinder 10 after the output stroke to dilute the exhaust gas. A carburetor unit 21 is supplied by the supercharger 20, and the overrich gas-air mixture into the cylinder 10 at the beginning of the compression stroke. A slide valve 22 controls the connection between the carburetor unit 21 and the cylinder 10.
