To reduce costs by simplifying a structure of a two-way torque limiter.
This two-way clutch is provided with: an input member 12 housed in a housing 11 and supported to one end thereof; an output member 13 housed in the housing 11 and supported to the other end thereof; and a coil spring 14 and a clutch mechanism 15 interposed between the input member 12 and the output member 13. In the two-way clutch mechanism, the clutch mechanism 15 is composed of: inward hooks 35 and 36 arranged at both ends of the coil spring 14, a lock release part 24 provided in the input member 12; and a lock part 29 provided in the output member 13. The lock release part 24 and the lock part 29 are each inserted into an inner-diameter surface of the coil spring 14 with a radial margin, and face each other with a predetermined facing space (a), and the hooks 35 and 36 are inserted in the facing space (a) with a margin in the rotating direction so as to direct hook inner surfaces thereof toward the lock release part 24.
