To provide a 2-way communication system employing an information terminal that takes especially carrying performance into account in which large capacity data are sent at a high speed.
An information terminal 1 sends small capacity data such as a command to a Web server 6 on an internet 5 to an asymmetrical router 4 via a 2-way radio network 2. The asymmetrical router 4 sends the command to the Web server 6 via the Internet 5 and sends large capacity data (e.g. browser data of hypertext markup language(HTML) form) from the Web server 6 to a data superimposing broadcast equipment 3. The data superimposing broadcast equipment 3 decides a transmission schedule time based on the received data quantity and reparts it to the information terminal 1 via the asymmetry router 4 and the 2-way radio network 2 and large capacity data are broadcast while being superimposed on a free area of a television signal when the transmission schedule time comes. The information terminal 1 starts a broadcast reception section when the transmission schedule time comes and receives the television signal on which the large capacity data are superimposed and conducts a prescribed processing such as display of the received data on a display section.
