Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the assembling of a spring member to control the posture of a sprag easier, in a two-way differential clutch which inclines the sprag between an input gear and a rotary shaft with a fixed holder and a movable holder.
CONSTITUTION: On the inner peripheral surface of a rotatable inside holder 9, a belt form spring 21 is wound, and elastic claw pieces 23 and 24 to hold a sprag 5 in the erecting condition are formed on both sides of a sprag insertion hole provided to the belt form spring 21. The abutting parts 25 and 26 provided on both side ends of the belt form spring 21 are abutted to the end faces 16 and 17 of a pocket 12, and by the tension generated by the abutting, the belt form spring 21 is brought into close adhesion to the inner peripheral surface of the inside holder 9.
