To provide a two-way torque limiter that can adjust the magnitude of generated torque from the outside, in a two-way torque limiter.
The two-way torque limiter comprises a torque generation mechanism 20 disposed between opposite surfaces of an inner ring 11 and an outer ring 12. The torque generation mechanism 20 has a wedge 21 formed between opposite surfaces of the inner ring 11 and outer ring 12, balls 23 interposed in the wedge 21, a coil spring 25 for pressing the balls 23 in the direction of the tapering of the wedge 21, grooves 22 in which the balls 23 are partly fitted and restrained from circumferential movement, and a lid member 26 screwed in a threaded portion 17 of the outer ring 12 to receive the coil spring 25. The screw stroke of the lid member 26 can be changed to adjust the magnitude of generated torque.
