Abstract:

To reduce the weight, and save the assembling man-hours by making a swing arm attaching bracket and a step attaching bracket into an integral structure, and forming a main frame by a fiber reinforced resin.

The contact area to a frame is increased, and an attaching stay 13 capable of attaching a step 12 and a swing arm 11 to a body (frame) by a single bracket is used. Fiber reinforced plastic is preferable as a material to be used for a structural frame, and it is formed by a resin transfer molding-(RTM) method or a structural reinforcing reaction injection molding method (SRIM method). Glass fiber, carbon fiber, Alamide fiber, etc., are suitable for a fiber reinforced material, and epoxy resin, vinyl ester resin, unsaturated polyester resin, or a resin containing these resins as main components is preferable as a resin.
