Abstract:
PURPOSE: To send signals of other sensors nearby a transmitter to the transmitter and also transmit electric power without altering the basic constitution of a conventional two-wire communication device.
CONSTITUTION: In addition to the transmitter 1, a power source 4, and a reception resistance which constitute the conventional two-wire communication device, an external sensor 2 is connected and a signal is supplied to the transmitter 1 and can be transmitted without requiring any new signal line; and the power source 4 can also be obtained through a signal line 3. The current consumption of the external sensor, however, increases, so a constant current circuit 7 is connected in parallel to the reception resistance, thereby obtaining the feature that its current bypasses the reception resistance and exerts influence on neither the power source nor the reception resistance.
