Abstract:

PURPOSE: To materialize high rate of filling while preventing occurrence of abrasions by a method wherein a pressure receiving plate in a tying machine for coiled linear materials is supported with an elastic support body over a foundation while a vibrating motor is provided beneath the pressure receiving plate, and vertical vibration is given to the coiled linear material.
CONSTITUTION: In a vertical tying machine that compresses and ties a coiled linear material 1, a pressure receiving plate 2 for placing the coiled linear material 1 thereon, a pressurizing plate 5 for applying pressure to the coiled linear material 1 on the pressure receiving plate, a device 51 for moving the pressurizing plate 5 upward and downward, a forming guide 6 composed of a plurality of pieces for restraining the coiled linear material 1 from the laterals when the pressure is applied, a device 61 for moving the forming guide 6 forward and rearward to and from the coiled linear material 1, and a device 7 for tying the compressed coiled linear material are provided. The pressure receiving plate 2 is supported with an elastic support body 3 on a foundation while a vibrating motor 4 is provided beneath the pressure receiving plate, and the structure is so constructed that vertical vibration is applied to the coiled linear material. Thereby, the coil can be bound with high compressibility without allowing tying belts to be put out of positions during handling.
