Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a DC/AC type cooling tower which has a simple structure and in which sufficient white smoke generation preventing effect is performed.
CONSTITUTION: A blower 12 is arranged in an exhaust port 15 provided at an upper part of a DC/AC type cooling tower 1, and the air is sucked from an atmosphere intake port 2 provided at a side of the tower 1 into the tower 1 via a blower 12. The tower 1 heat exchanges filler units 3, 4, 5, 6 arranged in the tower 1 with water to be cooled sprinkled from an upper water tank 9, exhausts the air from a space 14 of the tower via the port 15, and comprises filler units formed with passages to be partitioned by a filler plate at least in the unit 3 as an air and water-to-be-cooled passage, an air special purposed passage and a water-to-be-cooled special purpose passage.
