Abstract:

To obtain an O/W-type emulsion composition having good water and oil repellency and feeling in use and excellent emulsion stability.

The O/W-type emulsion composition contains ≥70 mass% liquid perfluoropolyether having a molecular weight of ≤5,000 in the oil phase and further contains a fluorinated ether compound of the formula (1); Rf-(CH2)n-O-R1 (Rf is a 1-20C straight or branched chain perfluoroalkyl group; R1 is a 2-30C straight or branched chain alkyl or cycloalkyl group; and (n) is 1 or 2), a water-soluble vinyl copolymer and water.
