To provide an opening/closing hanger for clothing which is convenient to carry during travelling, whose size can be contracted, and wherein a position for operating opening/closing is set above a hanger part and it can be inserted from a neck line even for round-neck shirt and sweater by solving the problems that in the conventionally provided opening/closing hangers for clothing, folding way of the hanger part is insufficient, and there exists difficult points on the position and the way for operating opening/closing.

This opening/closing type hanger for clothing is composed of six parts such as grips 1 and 4, hanger parts 7 and 8, a lock acting part 5 and a fixing shaft 18. When the grips 1 and 4 are joined together and are fixed by the lock acting part 5, the hanger parts 7 and 8 are made to an opening condition, and bendings of the hanger parts 7 and 8 are completely eliminated by the fixing shaft 18. When the lock acting part 5 is released in this hanger, the hanger parts 7 and 8 are automatically closed.
