To provide an elevating/lowering-type housing by which a rack body inside a cabinet is lowered or contained by means of one operation.

This housing is constituted of a containing cabinet 6, the rack body 10 provided inside the containing cabinet 6, an elevating/lowering support device 9 for supporting the rack body 10 so as to be freely inserting/ejecting and elevating/lowering possible, a door body 13 provided in the containing cabinet 6 and sliders 15a and 15b for interlocking the door body 13 and the rack body 10. The door body 13 is opened/closed by interlocking with the insertion/ejection of the rack body 10 so that the rack body 10 is lowered and also contained by one operation. Besides, the opening state of the door body 13 is controlled by engagement with the rack body 10 so that the open/close operation of the door of the cabinet at a side part is not prevented at the time of lowering the rack body and also the damage of the door is prevented.
