PURPOSE: To provide a miniaturized type wheel cartridge eliminating the reel section and the supply section of an ink ribbon by using a petal-shaped wheel and a disc-shaped ink ribbon with almost the same shape as this.
CONSTITUTION: A petal-shaped wheel 15 and a disc-shaped ink ribbon 9 with almost the same shape as this is fixed on a ribbon frame 11 having an internal gear 11a on the internal periphery thereof and three planetary gears 11aW14c to be meshed therewith 11a are mounted rotatably on an ink ribbon cover to form a differential gear mechanism. The petal-shaped wheel 15 is fixed on the shaft of a servo motor 22 while a driving gear 23 is fastened and meshed with the inside of the three planetary gears 14aW14c. An ink replenishing bodies 26 and 27 impregnated with ink are provided on the ink ribbon cover 12 so as to abbut on a disc-shaped ink ribbon 9.
