Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a tyre which is not burned yet from being raked out as it is from an ash rake-out port.
CONSTITUTION: In an auxiliary combustion chamber 2 that is provided in the direction of a tangent line to a rotating grate 4 a tyre 10 that has burned to a certain extent is pushed out in the circumferential direction on to the rotating grate 4. Since the round tyre 10 does not roll down on to the rotating grate 4 but moves smoothly in the direction of the rotation of the grate 4, the area of the grate 4 can be used effectively, and the time of stay of a tyre in the furnace can be long and it is burned completely.
