Title:
TYRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63279901
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reliably hold a tyre by a method wherein, in a title assembly for an automobile having the different size of the bead part of a tyre, the one rim to support a bead part is extended to the other rim, and the other bead part is held in the nip formed by the one and the other rim. CONSTITUTION:A first rim 21 is formed with a first flange part 211, a flat part 213, and a bent part 212, and the first flange part 211 is brought into contact with the outer surface of a first bead part 11. The bent part 212 is brought into contact with the inner surface of a second bead part 12, and a second bead part 12 is held in the nip formed by the bent part 212 and a flange part 221 of a second rim 22. The bent part 212 and the second rim 22 are secured to a center disc 23 by means of a bolt nut 24. This constitution eliminates a fear of a tyre being dislocated from a wheel even when the air pressure of the tyre is lowered, and enables improvement of reliability.
