PURPOSE: To aim at a sufficient damping effect in addition to being light weight in terms of structure by sealing compressed air in the symmetrical vertical tank top part of a U-shaped tank filled up with a liquid, and installing an inclined partition plate in an inner comer part of the symmetrical vertical tank lower end at an outward up-grade in an additional manner.
CONSTITUTION: Two partition plates 4a and 4b are installed in a corner part at each outer end inside of two vertical tanks 1a and 1b at a tilt angle of about 45°. A liquid is filled up in the inner part of a U-shaped tank 1, while an air chambers 3a, 3b are formed on top of these vertical tanks 1a and 1b, and static pressure in the inside is regulated in a pressure source via two supply and exhaust pipes 5a and 5b. With suchlike constitution, air in these air chambers 3a, 3b act as an elastic spring on symmetrical vibrations in a fluid in the tank 1, and thereby a vibration system is constituted, and when pressure in each air chamber is selected and the number of vibration frequency in this fluid in the tank is accorded with vibromotive frequency, the action of a dynamic vibration reducer is securable in this way. Owing to the tilt inductive partition plates 4a, 4b, the fluid is movable with little resistance, and all the water stored is useful to a damping action effectively as a movable mass.
