The ubiquitous streaming apparatus comprises means (21-24, 31-34) for inputting/outputting control flows or data flows to be transferred between a server and a terminal, a means 11 for detecting the interruption of contents being viewed now by the terminal to generate interruption information based on monitor results of the control flows and the data flows, a means 14 for recording the generated interruption information, and a means 13 for restoring information to start reproducing the interrupted contents from the interrupted time based on the interruption information.
