Title:
ULTRA-THIN-WALLED FALSE BAMBOO MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3623828
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the wt. of a false bamboo material and to make the thickness thereof ultrathin by using a paper pipe composed of porous paper material as a temporary core material and coloring and coating the surface thereof using a molten plastic material and curing the whole before removing the temporary core material.
SOLUTION: A paper pipe 1 composed of porous paper quality such as cardboard is used as a temporary core material and directly coated with a plastic material having a bamboo color without applying an adhesive or a self-adhesive to the core material and also coated with a coating resin at a definite interval to form node parts 3. Coloration approximate to the feeling of a natural bamboo is preliminarily applied to the plastic material 2 and dark paint is applied to the surface from one node part 3 to the next node part by a usual method. The plastic material 2 applied to the surface of the temporary core material 1 is cooled by air or forcibly cooled to be cured and, thereafter, the paper quality of the temporary core material is immersed in water, for example, for a definite time and decomposed and removed to continuously produce a false bamboo material having no core material.
