Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator capable of surely preventing leaked oil from flowing into an open hole again.SOLUTION: The oil separator comprises a filter element with which a filter member 37 is disposed between inside and outside punching plates 40A and 41 and which is configured in such a manner that coolant gas which flows in from inlet piping 15 flows into the filter member 37 from an inside open hole 51 provided in the inside punching plate 41 and flows to the outside from an outside open hole 50A provided in the outside punching plate 40A; and a shell 35 including a bottom part 35C for internally housing the filter element 36A and collecting leaked oil 60 flowing out of the outside open hole 50A. On a surface of the outside punching plate 40A, an auxiliary flow passage plate 45A for the leaked oil 60 is provided and the leaked oil 60 passes through the auxiliary flow passage plate 45A and is drained to the bottom part 35C of the shell 35.
