To provide an ultrarustproof coating compsn. which exhibits both chipping resistance and rustproof performance covering joint parts of steel sheets, dispenses with a coating, e.g. a chassis black coating, conventionally required for supplementing a rustproof wax, has a greatly improved chipping resistance in cold districts, and has been improved in rustproofing power at the edge parts, i.e., a weak point in conventional rusproofing methods.
This ultrarustproof coating compsn., which is used for vehicles, contains 5-45 wt.% petroleum sulfonate and/or its metal salt, 0.5-35 wt.% lanolin fatty acid and/or its metal salt, 0.5-35 wt.% hardened castor oil, and 0.05-35 wt.% flaky filler and/or fibrous filler. The compsn. is applied to necessary parts of vehicles and dried to form a strengthened rustproof coating film.
