PURPOSE: To provide a high-speed and uniform heating process by internally agitating a canned product under the application of an ultrasonic wave, regarding a heating device for the canned product using induction heating.
CONSTITUTION: An induction heating coil 2 is used to surround a canned product 1 and connected to a high-frequency oscillator 3. Then, induced current is made to flow in the coil 2 for generating eddy current in the product 1, thereby providing a heating process using an eddy current loss. The product 1 is positionally fixed with holders 4 and 4', and the lower end thereof is immersed in a pan 5 full of liquid 6. Furthermore, an ultrasonic vibrator 8 having a resonant frequency in the neighborhood of 1MHz is fixed to the lower surface of an ultrasonic radiation plate 7 of the pan 5, and connected to an ultrasonic oscillator 9. When the vibrator 5 is oscillated on the operation of the oscillator 9, forward currents 10 appear in the liquid 6, due to the vibration of the plate 7. The forward current 10 penetrates the product 1 and causes further forward currents to be generated in a beverage 11 contained in the product 1, thereby agitating the beverage 11. According to this construction, uniform heating can be applied via the agitation process.
