Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic detector using ultrasonic reflected waves as means for detecting moving objects that solves a problem that conventional detectors for measurement need to be installed so as to sandwich a track, which makes it difficult to secure a sufficient place.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic detector 23 is capable of outputting the elapsed time when a moving object passes through a reflecting region from a reflected wave generated when the moving object passes through the reflecting region 25 of the ultrasonic wave. The elapsed time can be output with high accuracy by reducing a measurement error due to the nature of the ultrasonic waves included in the ultrasonic detector. The ultrasonic detector solves a problem that conventional detectors need to be installed so as to sandwich measurement devices on both sides of a track, and allows for providing a measurement machine with sufficient accuracy for practical use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
