To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which effectively utilizes the space of a room where the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is installed.

The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an operating device 2 operated by a user to input a direction, an image display device 4 for displaying an ultrasonic image, a processing device 5 for generating an ultrasonic image on the basis of echo signals acquired by transmitting ultrasonic waves and for displaying the ultrasonic image, and a table 6 for mounting a subject. The operating device 2 is a separate body from the image display device 4, the processing device 5 and the table 6, wherein the table 6, the image display device 4 and the processing device 5 are formed in one piece on a side of the table 6 opposite to the operating device 2.
