Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize and display Doppler waveforms corresponding to plural sampling points in an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus.
SOLUTION: Array vibrators 12 are divided into two groups, each of which is utilized to form ultrasonic beams 102A and 102B respectively. The ultrasonic beams are set to pass sampling points specified on a B mode image. Doppler detection circuits 36, 38 extract Doppler data corresponding to the two sampling points, and Doppler waveforms expressing the extracted Doppler data are synthesized and displayed as synthesized waveforms on a display device 34. An automatic index operation circuit 51 operates the index (T index) for the synthetic evaluation of the function of the heart based on two parameters extracted from the synthesized waveforms.
