To provide an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus, wherein deterioration of ultrasonic images to be observed is reduced when the ultrasonic images of a plurality of sections are displayed.
An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises a transmitting and receiving means configured to transmit and receive ultrasonic signals to a plurality of different sectional planes of a subject to be examined by an ultrasonic probe, and an image signal generation means configured to execute image processing on the basis of received signals from the transmitting and receiving means and to generate image signals for ultrasonic images indicating each of a plurality of the sectional planes, wherein the transmitting and receiving or the image processing are executed with respect to one of a plurality of the sectional planes under a condition that is different with respect to another of the sectional planes.
