The three-dimensional ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus (1) equipped with an image generating device (2) for generating an ultrasonic image of the cross-section of a subject, a probe (3) for transmitting data acquired by irradiating the subject with ultrasonic waves to the image generating device (2), and a supporting member (4) for supporting the probe (3) is formed. The probe (3) acquires the data by meeting predetermined imaging timing. The supporting member (4) supports the movements of the probe (3) moving in a first direction, and then, the image generating device (2) generates a plurality of ultrasonic images by relating to the data transmitted from the probe (3) and generates the three-dimensional image of the subject from the plurality of the ultrasonic images.
