To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus improving the operability by preventing an intra-celom probe from disturbing the operation.
The apparatus comprises an intra-celom probe holding part 2a for holding the intra-celom probe 1, and a body surface probe holding part 2b, and these holding parts are mounted nearby an operation panel 5. The intra-celom probe holding part 2a is composed of an upright position holding part 2a1 for holding an upright posture of the intra-celom probe 1, and a horizontal position holding part 2a2 for holding the upright position holding part 2a1 and the intra-celom probe 1 horizontally to the operation surface of the operation panel 5 by inclining the upright position holding part 2a1. The apparatus further comprises an inclining mechanism for inclining the upright position holding part 2a1 and the intra-celom probe 1 held by the upright position holding part 2a1, and the intra-celom probe 1 and the upright position holding part 2a1 are inclined by this inclining mechanism, so that these are held to the horizontal position holding part 2a2 or the posture of voluntary inclined angle.
