Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic device and control method for the device which, even when a display mode of an ultrasonic image of a display screen is changed, allow an operator to easily understand correspondence between ultrasonic images before and after the change and have improved usability.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic device 100 which is configured to be connectable to a display 103 and is capable of changing a display of an ultrasonic image in a display screen from that in a first display mode to that in a second display mode comprises: a transition image holding unit for holding transition image data showing a process of changing the display from the first display mode to the second display mode; a display screen generation unit for generating display screen data corresponding to each of the first display mode, the second display mode, and transition image data; and a display screen output unit which causes the display 103 to display the display screen data as a display screen, and displays the display screen corresponding to the transition image data on the display 103 during a period when the display screen is changed from that in the first display mode to that in the second display mode.
