Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an ultrasonic image having high picture quality and reduced in side lobes and also multiple reflection using an adaptive array.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a setting part, a reception delay part, an adaptive array processing part and an image generation part. The setting part sets a position of a reception opening so as to be asymmetry to a scan line direction forming reception beams. The reception delay part outputs a reflection wave signal group received at the reception opening while spending reception delay time according to the reception position. The adaptive array processing part performs adaptive array processing to the reflection wave signal group output by the reception delay part at the reception opening to generate reflection wave data on the scan line. The image generation part generates ultrasonic image data using the reflection wave data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
