Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment capable of forming a three-dimensional elastic image in which noise is inconspicuous.SOLUTION: Elastic volume data indicating elastic value distribution in a three-dimensional space is formed by transmission and reception of ultrasonic wave to the three-dimensional space in an analyte. A three-dimensional elastic image formation part 38 sets plural rays to the elastic volume data and executes subsequently, output light quantity calculation using an elastic value and opacity along the ray for each ray, therefore a pixel value corresponding to each ray is calculated. Thereby the three-dimensional elastic image is formed. In the output light quantity calculation, the opacity is set according to the elastic value used in the output light quantity calculation and noise probability of the elastic value. For example, the opacity to the elastic value which has noise probability, is set to become smaller than the opacity to the elastic value which has no noise probability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
