Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which suitably detects the telesystole in a heartbeat period by suitably determining the baseline level in an electrocardiographic waveform depending upon whether or not a drift suppression filter is applied to the electrocardiographic waveform.SOLUTION: A baseline level determination unit switches the baseline level determination condition for determining the baseline level of an electrocardiographic waveform in conjunction with whether or not a drift suppression filter (highpass filter) is applied to the waveform. If the electrocardiographic waveform is not applied with a highpass filter, the baseline level determination unit determines the baseline level based on the level in a flat section of the electrocardiographic waveform. If the electrocardiographic waveform is applied with a highpass filter, the baseline level determination unit determines the baseline level based on the minimum level of the waveform portion in a predetermined section in a heartbeat period (when the electrocardiographic waveform is not inverted), or it determines baseline level based on the maximum level (when the electrocardiographic waveform is inverted). A time phase detection unit analyzes the electrocardiographic waveform based on the determined baseline level to detect the telesystole in a heartbeat period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
