This ultrasonic diagnostic system comprises a transceiver that converts an ultrasonic detection signal into a digital signal, a signal processing means that generates envelope curve data by giving the digital signal reception focus and envelope curve detection treatments, an image data generation means to generate image data from the envelope curve data, a speckle analysis means to produce the speckle analysis results from the envelope curve data, a display means to display ultrasonic images and the speckle analysis results corresponding to them on a display, and a means used to set up a region concerned with an ultrasonic image. The speckle analysis means includes a memory to store envelope curve data and an operation means to produce the speckle analysis results from the envelope curve data corresponding to the concerned region set up.
