Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter capable of improving measurement accuracy as compared with the prior art.SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic flowmeter 10, in a meter case 11, a fluid flows in the order of an inflow chamber 31, a measurement tube 50, and an outflow chamber 33 arranged in a horizontal direction H1. Then, a flow rate is measured using a pair of ultrasonic elements 56, 56 attached to the measurement tube 50. A porous wall 73 is provided in front of the measurement tube 50. As a fluid passes through a plurality of through holes 76 of the porous wall 73, a flow is made uniform and flows into the measurement tube 50. Here, the plurality of through holes 76 penetrates the porous wall 73 in a horizontal direction H1 and faces an inlet 50A of the measurement tube 50. As a result, the fluid flowing into the measurement tube passes through the plurality of through holes 76 and the flow is made uniform compared to the conventional case, so that the measurement accuracy is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
