PURPOSE: To obtain a flow meter with which a signal is processed with use of the wide range ability and at the same time the range can be set in an easy and accurate way, by leading the output of a frequency divider to the input of the other side of a frequency comparing part and then setting the range by setting the division ratio of the divider.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a frequency divider 17 is used to the input of the other side of a frequency comparing part 12, and a range can be set by setting the division ratio of the divider 17. For instance, the comparing part 12 leading the frequency signal proportional to the flowing speed of a fluid to be measured to the input of its side, and an integrating circuit 13 to integrate the output of the part 12 are provided. Furthermore a voltage-frequency converting part 16 leading a part of the analog signal output given from the network 13 to the input, and the divider 17 dividing the output of the part 16 are provided.
