Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flowmeter which can sufficiently uniformize the flow of a measurement object fluid at the time of the large flow rate while achieving miniaturization.SOLUTION: A meter case comprises: an inlet buffer part which is sectioned so that the inlet side of a measurement passage part of a flow rate measurement unit in which a measurement object fluid flows protrudes inward and the measurement object fluid flows into the inlet of the measurement passage part; and an outlet buffer part which is sectioned so that the outlet side of the measurement passage part protrudes inward and the measurement object fluid flowing out from the outlet of the measurement passage part flows out to the outside. The inlet buffer part includes: an opening which is provided on the inner wall facing the outer peripheral surface on the inlet side of the measurement passage part and communicates the inflow port; and a plate-like rectification member which is arranged so as to be in contact or close to the inlet for covering the inlet of the measurement passage part and divides the interior of the inlet buffer part into two sections. The rectification member is formed with plural rectification through holes on portions facing the outer side peripheral edge of the inlet and the inlet of the measurement passage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
