Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the carbonization of cloth sheet due to the heat of vibration from developing at ultrasonic fusing operation when separate part made of the cloth sheet is caulked to a trim main body by ultrasonic fusion.
CONSTITUTION: Air pocket parts 21 are provided on the mold surface of the bearing jig 20 for ultrasonic fusion at its positions corresponding to ultrasonic fusing devices 10. When a trim main body 30 and a separate part (intermediate bonding member) 40 are fused together with ultrasonic wave, air is fed from an air pump 23 through air feeding paths 22 into the air pocket parts 21 in order to absorb the heat of vibration developing at ultrasonic fusion by means of the airs in the air pocket parts 21.
