To detect infiltration of a little water at an early stage in an ultrasonic gas meter.
The ultrasonic gas meter includes a multilayered unit 1 in a gas channel. In the multilayered unit 1, a plurality of air flow stabilizing plates 3 are disposed in a multilayer to uniformize a gas flow rate. Ultrasonic waves from a transducer of an ultrasonic sensor are generated from a sensor junction section S to detect the gas flow rate. Water staying at the sensor junction section S is detected according to output of the ultrasonic sensor. A bank section 21 is formed on an upper surface 1a of a cylindrical case 1A. The bank section 21 is formed from an inlet-side opening 1-1 to the sensor junction section S. A packing 4 is disposed next to the sensor junction section S. Waterdrops falling on an upper surface 1a of the cylindrical unit 1 are stored at the sensor junction section S by a channel 22 inside the bank section 21, or a separate water-conducting structure is mounted to the cylindrical case 1A.
