PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily and accurately obtain an image in an arbitrary range, by simultaneously displaying the images of an object to be inspected from plural directions while indicating the arbitrary region of said image by a cursor.
CONSTITUTION: A memory circuit 7 stores an echo height I, a defect depth Z and the positions X, Y of a probe T as data for displaying a defect image. In addition, an external input apparatus 8 for inputting a condition required in displaying the image and a cursor is mounted and, according to this condition, a memory data transmitter circuit 9 for transmitting data from the memory circuit 7 and a cursor display circuit 10 for outputting cursor display data are provided. By this mechanism, the defect images of an object to be inspected from plural directions can be simultaneously displayed to the same display surface and the image in an arbitrary range can be easily and accurately obtained.
