PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of abrasion and increase the torque of the title motor, by constituting the contacting surface of a moving body with a plastic material including fluorocarbon polymer.
CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic motor is constituted of a stator body 2, mounted on a piezo-electric body 1, and a moving body 3, contacting with the moving body 3 under a pressurized condition. The moving body 3 is constituted of a friction contacting unit 4, consisting of a plastic material at least containing fluorocarbon polymer, and a power transmitting unit 5. According to this method, the fluorocarbon polymer warks on the surface of frictional contact as a solid lubricant whereby smooth slip between the stator body 2 and the moving body 3 may be realized.
