Title:
ULTRASONIC NEBULISER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2739533
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable atomization of a sample liquid solution to be efficient by mounting a member with improved thermal conductivity having a specified thickness onto the surface at a capillary side of an ultrasonic vibrator and then cooling it.
CONSTITUTION: A member 8 with improved thermal conductivity which consists of a metal with a large thermal conductivity is joined to the surface at the side of a capillary 2 of an ultrasonic vibrator 1 and a thickness t at an included part 8a between the vibrator 1 and a glass plate 3 is set to n/2 multiples of the wavelength of ultrasonic wave (n: positive integer). When a cooling water is supplied to a cooling water channel part 8b in this configuration, the vibrator 1 is cooled indirectly due to cooling of the member 8, thus suppressing heat build-up. Also, since the rear surface side of the vibrator 1 is in contact with atmosphere and ultrasonic wave is reflected on the interface and is propagated toward the glass plate 3. Also, since the thickness t of the included part 8a is set to n/2 multiples of the wavelength, the included part 8a vibrates with the vibrator 1 along with the glass plate 3, thus enabling sample liquid solution which is discharged from the capillary 2 to be atomized efficiently. Also, a lead wire 6 can be connected within atmosphere easily.
