This ultrasonic operation apparatus is provided with an information storage element 12 capable of writing and storing identification and use history information on a probe which conducts ultrasonic vibration to a treatment part; an information exchanger 14 provided at a transducer 13 connected to the probe 11 and having an ultrasound transducer 15 for generating ultrasonic vibration, to exchange information of writing and reading of the identification and use history information written and stored in the information storage element 12; and a driving control device 21 for performing drive control of the information exchanger 14 of the transducer 13 to perform drive control of the ultrasound transducer 15 on the basis of the identification information from the information storage element 12 and performing drive control of the information writing element 12 to update and write the use history information of the probe 11 through the information exchanger 14.
